Let's talk about death challenge: Day 6

Day 6 let's talk about death challenge...

Think about how it felt to you, if you can, when others' words wounded you. Do you remember that feeling? What was it like to feel that way? For me, I felt more alone and isolated, misunderstood, and invalidated. More importantly, I felt like my precious child's life and death didn't matter to others. That created a significant challenge for me. It would take me quite a lot of work to cultivate equanimity in the face of what I perceived to be verbal assaults.

Yes, and I will never forget.

R and K are the two that have magnified my pain through words and yet...mostly,

the wound of words misspoken is lighter than the wound of silence in my darkest hour.
